WANA (Wrigley Area Neighborhood Alliance, Inc.) Habitat Restoration and Water Conservation Education Program is offering folks a guided tour of the Domiguez Gap Wetlands Restoration Project, which is adjacent to the Los Angeles River in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach.
Tour Guides will be David and Bob Sundstrom, Long Beach Native Plant Enthusiasts and Joe Linton, Author of "Down By the Los Angeles River".
A tax-deductible (Federal ID# 74-3222323) donation of $5.00/Single and $7.50/Couple or Family is suggested. All proceeds will benefit extension of the all-volunteer habitat restoration project in the Wrigley District along the Los Angeles River Bike Trail, North of 19th Street.
